“Esthaghal Fany” is a nationwide initiative launched by TVET Egypt in collaboration with the Egyptian Junior Business Association (EJB) and WUZZUF, to meet the demand for higher skills’ standards of the private sector and TVET to find and address the challenges in the area of raising education and training standards of TVET students and graduates to meet the higher skills standards the private sector demands.
Eshtaghal Fany targets TVET students and graduates to raise their capacity and enhance their market readiness through establishing a support network for Egyptian industries and the private sector.
To optimize the efficiency of the initiative’s impact, fact-finding missions are launched at regular intervals to identify the labour market’s needs across Egypt’s governorates and areas where skilled labour is lacking.
Other objectives of the Eshtaghal Fani
initiative are to:
Raise awareness among employers on the availability of qualified TVET graduates ready to join the workforce.
Encourage youth to actively participate in the labour market.
Shift the negative social perception of TVET among youth and other groups and educate them on the benefits of the sector at large.
